Authors in Their Own Words: Jeff Crowder

If we face facts, a large source of conflict in the world is greed. It's almost cliche to say it, but much of life comes down to the haves and the have nots. It seems the haves can never have enough, and I suppose that's true of the have nots too (though they simply never get enough).

But, what if some have nots are on the brink of becoming haves. Well, that seems to boil the blood of the haves more than any other development.

And, in the world, a huge source of the have/have not conflict comes down to oil.

Enter author Jeff Crowder's book, Oilpatch. His description alone tells you this is a read ripe with conflict, greed, and the stuff that makes for intriguing reading:

"It's the story of a hillbilly family sitting on top of a secret goldmine of oil that only a few people are aware of. The family members and oilmen jockeying for position to own the mineral rights to the vast fortune erupts into a small war and an unlikely hero materializes to change the course of history. A man's search for the truth inside a powder keg of confusion and resulting bloodbath of greedy businessmen refusing to obey the law and heed to the right of legitimate entrepreneurs seizing opportunities from the sellouts who caved in under the threat of economic instability after the terrorist attacks cemented the uncertainty."

If that intrigues you or might intrigue someone you know, give the book a chance by purchasing it:
